    So here's my story...

I has a great life going at home in Ft.Lauderdale, FL. Awesome job with my friends, great car, cool place to live, making enough money to live comfortably. Everything was good. Then I met this guy and fell in love. He works for the airlines and took a transfer to Charlotte, NC 4 months into the relationship. Sooo I had to decide move up there or find someone new, so I moved to CLT.

Now I have barely any friends, people are different up here, an ok job that pays ok but not enough to live like I am used to so I don't go out. Plus nothing to do here but play with my upcoming curve or be online.

So I watch alot of movies. Although I have pay per view and all the premium channels it seems like I always watch the same movies over and over again because I don't get tired of them.
Here is my list (in random order)..

    1. Clerks 2
    2. School for Scoundrels (how spell?)
    3. The Mummy 1 & 2
    4. The Othe Boleyn Girl
    5. All the Jackass Movies
    6. Office Space
    7. Benchwarmers
    8. Talladega Nights
    9. Blades of Glory
    10. Wedding Crashers

    What is on your list?

Re: #4. The Other Boleyn Girl

Really? I heard that while the movie and actors are really good, the characters they portray are so reprehensible that it makes repeat viewings pretty difficult. Not that I have seen this movie myself, I generally dislike depressing picures. In fact, when I found out that something bad happens to Sam in "I Am Legend", I was robbed of any desire to see that movie.

I can't believe no one mentioned the greatest 10 minute movie of all time. Back to the Future Part 1. Everytime my wife and I watch that movie it seems like it's over before you know it.

    Marty: "That's Heavy"

Doc: "Heavy? There's that word again, why are things so heavy in the future? Is there a problem with the Earth's gravitational pull?"

Thanks NicoleLauren. Regarding the whole Grindhouse double feature, I loved Death Proof, but hated Planet Terror. My husband likes them both, but I don't go for zombies.

And regarding The Other Boleyn Girl. I was dying to see it, couldn't get my husband to go to the theater with me, so I waited til it was on DVD. I had to try 4 times just to get through it once. To me it wasn't good at all. I read the book earlier this year, and LOVED it. Maybe that's why I didn't like the movie. To me, a book is always better than a movie.

If you haven't read it, you should. It's by Phillippa Gregory. I also read The Constant Princess, which is about Catherine of Aragon. And The Boleyn Inheritance, which is about the lives of George Boleyn's wife (can't remember her name right now, but she was executed too) and other later wives of Henry VIII. Very good reading

I agree, I did not like Planet Terror. I can go for zombies on occasion and this was not one of those occasions.

I never read any Philippa Gregory books. When my boss overheard my coworker and I discussing the movie The Other Boleyn Girl, she gave me The constant Princess and The Boleyn Inheritance to read. I started on The Constant Princess. She said I HAD to read The Other Boleyn Girl because it had so much more detail. She said that the movie was like cliff notes.

I think I loved the movie so much because I am a huge fan of Natalie Portman.
