Sounds like sour grapes to me. I think if the dev has issues with 1mobile he should've had the issue before it was brought up that BBRY is getting apps there. They have been around long before that even thought of happening.

I agree. I mentioned this in another post and will mention it here as well:

What an inappropriate and offensive post by Phil and the Android team from Mobile Nations.

Calling people "assholes" isn't by any means appropriate and it's downright disgusting. Especially from a senior staff member that represents their site and it's offerings, he should know better.

First of all, this software was a leak, so we don't know what may happen with the official version. We still don't know 100%.

Secondly, if he was that upset about it, maybe he should've taken the adult approach and contacted Kevin for a one on one or Mobile Nations discussion, where they could voice their opinions better.

Third, that will be the first and last time I will be going over to that site - like I said, it was just plain disgusting and unprofessional. It's like he's acting angry and scared all at the same time and because of it, to me, he made himself as well as what he represents, look like what he was essentially calling us Blackberry users.

Kevin - you know I've been disappointed in your team of writers and editors previously for not standing up to RIM/BBRY on behalf of BB users. I think you have since made the case that you and your team often spoke on our behalf privately, behind closed doors. I can only hope that not only is there a good deal of private discussion now ensuing, but there follows a very public one as well. Your readers have not just been loyal to BB, but to CB as well and deserve better from any of it's publishing arms than to be insulted and mis-aligned.

Since I've had (or still have) 4 BlackBerrys, I'll take #10, 11, 13, 14 (since Jaydee has #12). My mother will take #15 and my daughter #16, my best friend #17, boyfriend #18, another friend #19...etc etc etc And Pfffft to Jerry and Phil and the lot of them. It was Jerry who admitted to being the "9 users" commenter. Someone else was oh, so generous to say 15. The language and snide attitude coming out of that crowd were shocking. I'll never buy an Android now.

I haven't even watched the podcast but I have the gist of the content from all the comments. I would be very happy to be one of the last 9 people using a BBRY but that is a very unlikely scenario.

I am using what I consider to be the very best phone available. Why do people worry so much about what I am running on my phone? Android obviously has massive market share; THOUSANDS of phones and tablets to choose from; and apparently MILLIONS of apps to run. The fact that the leadership at Android Central chooses to spend ANY time speaking about BBRY and dumping on its users speaks volumes about fanboyism. I find I spend less and less time on the AC site; when I need .APK info / android info I go elsewhere. Hey Mobile Nations are you listening?

Yeah, so BB users running the latest leak are Assholes and Thieves in the eyes of the Android Userbase? BB Users have been downloading Android Apps and Converting/Sideloading them for MONTHS. And how do you think they got those apps? Most likely from the SAME APP STORES. We just now have an easier method that doesn't require conversion. Nothing has changed, other than a few developers giving us the ability to connect directly to Android App Stores.

I think the real issue is that they are now fearing that Adnroid Users on the fence about BB can now freely jump ship. They can now access all the apps they have know to love and enjoy, but on a Blackberry.

Oh, and make me #17.
