    Folks,

I just want to acknowledge Martin Brodeur, goalie for the NJ Devils going for the all time record for wins tonight in New Jersey. NHL Network has the game on now in the US (and I think in Canada too) if anyone wants to watch. I'm a Flyers fan, but I must acknowledge Brodeur on the cusp of this record. Kudo Martin!

EDIT: He got the record! 552 wins and counting!

As an Avalanche and Patrick Roy fan, one has to recognize this feat! Amazing because in hockey, one needs more than longevity to beat this record.

It is amazing to be sure. You have to respect the skill that the man has. I'm a Thrashers fan, but I am recording the game to watch later. This record will stand for a very long time.
My hat is also off to Roy. It was really cool that he showed up the other night in to see his record get tied.

I'm not much of a hockey fan but kudos Brodeur. I caught most of the game. He did some amazing saves.
