Lost is a great show but it seems to take for ever to get going then it is the end of the show. I feel more lost after each show

Another Lost fan here. 2nd episode was definitely firing on all cylinders and I'm looking forward to watching the remaining episodes unfold. I really hope they don't pull a 'Sopranos' and make us wait until next January to see the rest of this season...

I would recommend you start out with Season One, LMJ_8130. It'll be cheaper and the first season lays a good foundation for all that comes later (personalities, character conflict and motivation, etc.). Of course you'll miss out on the twisted brilliance that is Benjamin Linus, but I think it'll be worth it. Not to mention the fact that season one will be infinitely better.

it's sad. my cousin (who's an executive story editor for LOST) won't give me any details about the storyline.

The DVD's are the way to go... the 45 min. seems to fly by. You might want to watch each epi. a few times since there is so much to take in.
