Well, what are your profession?
they are good sites but you have to really look into to them
that's a good point huh?
currently - i am an asst manager for enterprise rent a car and have worked there for about 2 1/2 years. my degree is in business and organizational communications (PR and psych concentrations).
the worst part that i am not entirely too sure what i want to do. which i know wont really help you all helping me but i wanted to put that out there.
i do enjoy planning events, training, HR, and management.
I know I used yahoo hotjobs a lot to look around for jobs. And I'm going to have to do that again next month when I move :(

In Michigan we have Michigan Works and Michigan Talent Bank websites. Is there anything like that in Ohio? Assuming you're not looking to move that is.
ooohhh...always forget about yahoo!
thanks for the links chaz!
also...i think there might be a sie like akron works or something like that...i'll google it!! :D
Craigslist always did me right.

why cant i just win the lotto?!?
do you have the winning numbers tho?! :D
Seriously found my jobs in New York and Boston from Craigslist. Not a bad site.
Plus all the things I bought and sold on there are ridiclious.
Best of luck!!!

I'm in the Cleveland/Akron area as well. It was a few years ago but I was located through Monster by my current employer.
Make sure you do a little leg [mouse] work, too. Make a list of the big companies in your area. Go to their web sites and see what they do and submit your resume with a cover letter. Make sure the letter is short and identifies how your skills will help the company.
Many companies do not advertise so submitting a resume works. I know this is basic stuff but as someone who does hiring, you'd be surprised how many forget this stuff. We are always more interested in people who take an interest in us than mass submittals from a huge website.
If you want an adventure, check out ITT Corp's web site. They are going to have thousands of jobs in the Middle East - many supporting the war but not in Iraq. Every kind of job you can think of, blue and white collar.

off topic, but i've had a bunch of friends go through Enterprise's MT program and burn out by the time they climb their way up the ladder. How are you managing it? It's a great company that just pays way too low.
One other thing that relates to the above. Nowadays 2.5 years at your age is a good run with a company like yours. That can only help. I know some say now that job hopping isn't bad and won't hurt you, none of the managers at my organization will hire a hopper.

exactly! i am way burnt out! working 11+ hour days with no lunch and sometimes 60+ hour weeks is not fun! and for what i make. money is the biggest thing. if i were paid more then maybe i could deal with it more. instead i am looking for a new job...
i always went through Monster.com. i love Monster.com. i even worked for them for a short period of time. and i'm probably gonna go back there pretty soon. i know alot of people that still work there, that always gives me the 411 over there.
