Forgive me if this has been asked before, but I'm tired of searching the forums and finding nothing. I have a problem getting connected to wifi places that send a notification to you telling you there is a connection available. I open the notification, tap on open and it opens the browser. Then nothing happens. Tap the close button in upper left. No wifi. This happens at McDonalds, Tim Hortons, Starbucks, other restaurants and businesses and even at my house. I know the network us working, because other devices are connected or connecting. At times it will say I'm connected in the settings>network>wifi but icon in the upper right of the screen says different.

I'm using the latest leak and have been since it came out. I also have the newest radio file installed. But this has been a problem for some time. My wife doesn't have the same problem with her Q10.

Any help much appreciated.

Kidding aside, you have a leak installed... not sure what to tell ya...

I'm running official 10.2.0.x and no issues for me.

Install the official release and see if your problems persist.

If he was trying to touch his wife's hotspot at Tims or McD's I can see why he doesn't have a wife connection now.

It doesn't get that far. Most times I get a Blackberry logo the words Blackberry and something to the effect of you are now connected.


PS: Tried to change the title but still say I have marriage problems.
May be a Mod could change/update the title for me to "Wifi" Thanks.

I kinda had the issue too. Is it only with connecting to hotspots that require you to log in?

[Edit] Oh wait I have a better one! Did you make sure you used correct sized USB cable? Micro USB is smaller than Mini. \/
