    ok but how does anyone other than the phone's owner use Siri to access photos? i mean NO ONE else ever touches my phone....so this hack only works if you hand your phone to someone, right?

    Yeah it got patched yesterday server-side. Now when you initially do a Siri search for those areas it will ask you for a TouchID/passcode to enable the functionality.
