LOL this is not unusual for Ebay. I see people buy stuff all the time for more than what they would have paid in the store. Especially when there is a shipping cost that they didnt take into consideration.
But archangel is right. People get addicted to the bidding. They have to win and nothing is more fun than sniping someone out at the last second. heh I do it too, only I always set myself a max so I don't end up paying more than I would pay elsewhere.
