Well, some of you may know I bought a moped brand new moped not even a week ago and the first day I went to ride it the whole tank of gas leaked out on my garage floor. I brought it in to get fixed and they replaced a cracked filter. I was a little pissed because they prepped it for me to pick it up and they should have seen this problem and fix it. Anyways I picked it up after getting fixed and I rode it for a while and put it in for the night. Today I went cruising to run some errands and about 6 miles from home it dies and it would not start and I'm like wtf. I was furious at this point and had to walk it all the way until about a mile home and then someone was kind enough to give me a lift. The place wasn't open today but I left a nice message on the machine for him. So then I went to see if it would start about 2 hours later and it did start but weakly and the lights started flashing like crazy and stuff. At this point I just gave up and was like screw it. So I wrote a email to the manufacturer and I am going to call the moped place tomorrow to demand a refund or another moped but a different model. Does anyone have any advice for me? I don't think I'm out of line since I paid all this money and its having nothing but problems the first week.

Two words: lemon law. The dealership needs to either fix your moped, or give you one that does work. Sorry to hear about all this.. Good luck!

Does anyone know if there is any lemon law I can pull on them? I live in CT so I would have to correspond to CT. If you could find something for me that would be excellent.

Just FYI...Lemon Law only applies to the same problem. So the only way that law would take affect is if the same problem keeps happening.
