I love how Jeremy Mayfield tested positive for meth.....what an intelligent man? NOT!!

And don't you just love the way Nascar handled the situation by dismissing his suspension as if to say it's ok to take drugs and drive a 850 hp race car? What a bunch of morons!
I thought there was good evidence Mayfield had a false positive and that's the reason the federal judge forced NASCAR to let him race. Not arguing with anyone, that was just from a Fox news story. I could be wrong.
If you knew that the person racing beside you were taking drugs, positive or not, would you feel comfortable knowing that he has "control" of a 3,000 pound, 850 hp weapon? I don't think so!

If anyone were using drugs, especially one as bad as meth, they deserve a ban. I was just saying I read there is good evidence it was a false positive. I don't know the right thing to do in a case like this, but I am a believer in innocent until proven guilty. If he did do it, he shouldn't race.
What happens if it is a false positive. I don't know many of these drivers, so I don't know his standing with fans - liked or not. I'm getting the impression he is not popular. But my opinion is unbiased because I don't know anything about him. Has his performance been erratic? Has he caused many out of the ordinary accidents? Anything aside from one test that should keep him out of a race?

I love how both the love and hate threads have gotten completely off track lately. Well, the hate thread was still hate at least, though missing some elements of the theme.
