I love that you get cold when it's 71 degrees out. I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich. I love that you get a little crinkle in your nose when you're looking at me like I'm nuts. I love that after I spend day with you, I can still smell your perfume on my clothes. And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it's not because I'm lonely, and it's not because it's New Year's Eve. I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.

I love Sadie, just love the girl. The way she licks my face, the affection she shows me everytime I get home and she has to stay. Her breath even when she's chewin' cow patties. Her little looks telling me she knows what I'm thinking. The way her tail wags everytime I look at her. The way she fetches that slobbered on ball till I can't lift my arm anymore. The puddles on the floor from water pouring out of her mouth every time she drinks. Her moments of incontinence, waking me up in the middle of the night to go outside. The dead animals carcasses she drags back from all corners of the farm, just to show me she's doing her job. The way I have to wash her every time she rolls in those dead carcasses. The tears in my pick-ups bench from her nails as she excitedly gets in.
Yes, I do love my Sadie, and Sadie loves me too!
