It just makes me chuckle. Yes, even if they ribbed BB I'd still smirk about it.
I don't know that they are insulting them so much as they are pointing out the emperor has been slow to realize that either his laundry has shrunk in the wash, or he's been bacchanaling a tad too often and has forgotten that sometimes a change of finery is in odor... order. And some of their ads last year put the screws to legacy BB, as well, further putting a dent in their backside while they were down.
Talk about insinuating the stereotype. A positive stereotype does not debunk the negative one. I guess the ad is subtle enough that not many notice to make a big stink about it.
I still like the wall huggers commercial better. As if a removable battery is the next big thing. Much like BB Classic.

Because nobody uses external battery packs, haha. I did like this commercial, though. It's clever. And it's a somber reminder of what I'll have to deal with when I eventually return to iPhone as my go-to device.
I love seeing a iphone put in its place makes me feel all warm inside :laughing:
