I have a similar problem. Except all the people I was best friends with are either 1. Engaged. 2. Married. 3. Have kids now. 4. Or a combo. And they don't like hanging out with me cause I'm single, childless, and I'm not 'as mature' as them. Since when has getting married matured anyone?

In MY case, I'm almost positive it's a lost cause.

I've tried numerous times to change things and re-kindle our friendship but he has never changed in the 15 years I've known him, mostly drug related.

It sucks.

Yep. Gotta cut ties with people who are harmful to your progress. People like that just weigh you down and keep you from reaching your full potential.
