Lol...the party was pretty tiring, but it actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. A handful of kids even helped me clean up afterwards. I'll make sure that they get a nice gift when they have their birthday parties

Yeah, I agree with decimate.the.weak. Showing off for someone you think is attractive is natural behaviour when you're young. When I was a kid, I was always trying to impress the girls...sometimes succesfully....sometimes not so good.

I hate people who show off in their car when they don't know what they're doing. Saw a head-on collision on the news a few hours ago, the guy who didn't do anything wrong might not make it while the dumb/macho one didn't even get a scratch.

There's a difference.....When you're young, you generally don't use the best tactics to win over someone you're crushing on. Youngsters usually try a combination of being attractive and "look what I can do". The older you get, the more you try to impress them with wit and personality (cleaning yourself up a little doesn't hurt either).
