The trend I see is that people in their 30s and 40s are the most likely to own BlackBerry's, but the younger a person is, the more likely they are to be addicted to the internet.

The HUB is hassle free!
I know for a fact my dad would love to check his emails, texts, whatsapp, vibers, update notifications in one place.

He has a Lumia currently and does not even realise when he has an app update or a message on whatsapp. Viber does not give notifications at all and the notification sounds are so low. The point is... I see why older folks/those who prefer an organised OS would prefer BlackBerry.

One thing I will note, while all the people posting are users of Crackberry.com, not all are necessarily BlackBerry users. But you folks are definitely right in saying that BlackBerry really and truly is designed for all age groups and walks of life, not just for executives running companies or middle aged folks who just reminisce about the golden days of BlackBerry.

Myself, I chose my Z30 because android was not cutting it for me both as a second device and as a full messaging device. It had the apps to do the communicating but I found it a pain to keep going back and forth between all the apps. The big ones I used were Skype, Yahoo Messenger (sadly our version does need a full makeover and to become more on par with the versions for iPhone and Android) Facebook Messenger and of course SMS and WhatsApp. The amount of switching I ended up doing instead of just going to a central messages inbox (or even the hub on BB10) was such a pain I barely used most of those services.
