I'm up to $4.00 a gallon - 30 miles South of Denver. Thank God we don't pay California taxes - just teasing you guys. I'm a 5th gen Californian living in Colorado. I'll be back when I retire to live in my house in Monrovia.

    I think it's around 1.17 a litre here. So, there's four and a half litres in a gallon, so that's.. 5.27 a gallon which makes it $10.48 a gallon.

And you Americans think you've got it bad???????

Ouch, then there's European taxes! Thanks for the reminder. But you do have health care, 8 weeks of holiday time, and unlimited unemployment to pay for, lol.

Petrol prices in the UK are taking the **** at the moment. However, they have us over a barrell (excuse the pun) as we need the fuel. Public transport outside of London is a joke. Trains are like those cattle carriages you see in India.

I'd get a horse but they'd find away of taxing the bloody carrots!!!
