    Much less now. My previous job was 26 miles from
    home. New position 3 miles from home and I don't
    work on Fridays so about 60 p/week. But I fill up
    at half a tank. Takes the sting out of it a bit.
    I do the same thing you do AG. I go to the pump and load right at 55 and 60 bucks at a time. Then 4 days later, I'm doing the same thing all over again.

    Luckily I only have to buy gas every couple weeks! I only drive like 3 miles round trip to work!! BUT, before you get all angry at me, I work part time for VERY low wage
    I'll let that one slide. Thanks for the input though.

    I'm averaging about $280/week. Drive a Chevy Uplander but my sales territory covers MI, OH, WV, and western PA so I'm also averaging 4.8k miles per month.

    Thank God for company cars and corporate gas cards!

    Call me stupid but I just dont understand how the price of gas can vary so much state to state, let alone across the street! Seems like you have to have a decent paying job to drive anymore.... sucks for me, I used to like driving.

    $0 for gas because I dumped my car once I moved into Manhattan. $20 week if I take the bus to work. $0 if I walk. However, if you live in NYC, everything else is expensive so it makes up for it.

    I spend a little over $40 since I started driving my commuter car. An 88 VW Scirocco. It costs $135 or more to fill up my F-350. Disel is at $5 per gallon here in seattle. If I was still driving the truck it would be $150 or more per week. Good thing my wife only works a few blocks from home. She will go a couple of months before she has to fill-up.
    Yes gas prises suck.
    Disel = $5.00 per gallon
    Reg. = $4.39
    Sup. = $4.69
    Seattle today.

    I have a 64 mile round trip four days a week and my Focus gets 35 mpg on the highway. That's about $30.00 a week. Used to spend double that in my Jeep so the Focus was a good investment.

    My wife has an 90 mile round trip 5 days a week at 15 mpg in her non-Hemi Ram 1500. That's about $120.00 a week. However, she is a consultant so she is reimbursed at the IRS rate per mile. I think it's around .42 cents a mile. So she brings home $190 a week for using her vehicle -- not too bad a deal. I guess it means we're ahead on the gas, but my wife doesn't share her reimbursement! I pay the bills, she gets to shop.
