Sprint 8130 Pearl = $99.99 @ Best Buy
Voiceplan= $39.99 ($29.99 after Company Discount)
Unlimited Data Plan with SMS= $44.99 ($34.99 after Company Discount)
$220 outright - a coworker was frustrated with difference of features from her previous phone with WM6 and had bought another Microsoft based smartphone.
my plan is only $19 for internet. $10 for unlimited text and pic.
nice. i wish verizon would match that. i pay $30/month data, though we do get an 18% corporate discount on our plan. and i can't complain about their service.
i bought mine straight out for $449 and it was worth every penny...and thats not including bb unlimited package and unlimited messaging....i truly love my bb
I bought my BB last May and just got a new one from Rogers because mine was defective for free not even a contract up grade straight up trade
I paid 400 cdn last may and it is worth every penny
I wasnt up for an upgrade for tmobile but the instant i saw the curve i fell inlove. So i took her home 360 dollars later....totally worth it..the best phone i have owned so far....
I haggled with T-Mo and went from an initial $298 quote to ultimately $180 on a one year contract. I got them to add the $50 mail-in rebate instantly and waive the $18 upgrade fee (which sucks). Plus, I can still get the $50 mail-in the old fashioned way bringing me to $180. I hate that T-Mobile doesn't really give good deals for continuing customers but their rates and data plan are hard to beat.
Unless you need it for business, I feel spending an extra $600/year (based on At&t's unlimited data/message BB plan - $50/month), I feel is uncessary and over-priced.
I use my BB 8320 and find it very useful for the calender (sync), full keyboard and whatnot. Being able to connect to WiFi and get my email when Im at work (no internet on computer but there is wireless) - has been awesome and becoming more and more addictive.
But I do not pay for a data plan and only have a messaging plan, and as much as Im sure push email and everything is great, I do not feel it's worth it. Like I said unless you need it for business or something. Otherwise you are just a email junkie and need help if you feel you need 24/7 access to your email.
Im in law school and have a computer infront of me with WiFi most of the time anyway as Im sure a lot of people on here do...
I have t-mobile and for bis it is 20.00 a month,for bes(work email and personal) is 30.00 a month.I like my plan as well as having lots of minutes and use it daily.(email)but to each his own.Blackberry was designed for business users initially.Yes,50.00 a month is pricy.I got my 8320 curve for 250.00 after instant 199.00 and 50.00 mail in rebate.I have 1000 anytime minutes,5 faves,400 text msgs,400 pic msgs,no roaming charges,free nights and weekends.I love the security of not having to watch minutes.Oh also unlimited megabytes.My monthly bill is 100.00.
I got mine for 300 off for renewing my Tmobile cntract. When people tell me it's wasted money, I say it's either blackberry or crack. I prefer my blackberry and a few extra pounds on my arse.

Cheaper than smoking! I quit on 1/1/08. Saving 200 bucks a month not smoking. That's less than my hundred a month for shared with my mom cell phone and data plan.
