I'm on a vodafone and blackberry package in South Africa. This is what i pay monthly for The 9000 Bold and unlimited data & e-mail package:
Phone: R205.00 = $22.50
Package: R50 = $5.50
150 anytime minutes. 100 free sms.
my phone cost 150 a month but that includes unlimited texting and internet service plus unlimited pix and free incoming international plus free minutes after 7
My 8300 Curve was free because it was refurbished, thanks to AT&T. It was in new condition and I never had a problem with it. I just got a Bold refurbished and it too is in great condition, however, not free!
I just sold the Curve after 1.5 years of heavy usage to an online company for $88, now that's a deal.
Got my Bold for FREE from AT&T warranty exchange, my curve's kept having "problems" so they gave me a BNIB Bold as a replacement. They stopped doing that after I got my girlfriend one that way as well.
The good side: my BB Bold is free (from work), unlimited data plan.
The bad side: I work in a very secure environment, so the BB is SO locked down that I cannot download any apps to it. No music, nothing.
Not counting the 2 8320's I owned previously (which I paid full price for BOTH) lolz I just bought the 8900 and paid $500 and a month I pay about $110 but not complaining I love my bb and thinks its soo worth it. I'll put in the over time at work to afford it lolz

My 8900 was free on an 18 month contract with o2. I pay 35 a month for 600 any time any network minutes, 500 texts and the BB add on. We don't pay for incoming calls or texts in the UK.
