and as far as my plan goes, i pay about $85 a month for my faves 300, unlimited text, unlimited data/email, and security. pretty much the same amount a month as my old sidekick, but just a way better phone.
Best Buy advertised curves yesterday for $49 (w/ 2yr contract w/ att) they are getting cheaper. Not sure if thats good thing or not.
Where are the corners being cut? Or are they just flooding the market in response to the iphone?

Wonderful Suncom is $15.00 a month unlimited data! however T-Mobile takes over in Sept. so who knows what will happen then.
I am not sure if your plan is able to legally be changed since you signed for a contract... but even if they did change it, TMo unlimited is $19.99. (so not too bad )
I got my TMo Curve for $150... and I would have paid $250 knowing how sweet it is. (with contract)
Free 8330 Curve from Verizon after instant $50 rebate and $100 credit due to my horrific experiences with the Treo 600 then 650 then 700. A night and day difference between the Treo and Bberry. Very happy now.
$99 and 3 years of my life to Telus. I'll probably pay full pop for a 9000 series phone whenever the CDMA variants get released (which could actually be 3 years from now hahaha).
