I'm pleading the fifth as I will incriminate myself. My contract was not up for renewal so I paid the full Canadian price for my 8130. It hurt but it was so worth it!
Got mine 8100 for $12.32.......Wal-Mart just started selling BB for T-Mobile. Some stores have 3 choices but most stores I ve seen have the BB 8100. With a one year agreement you get the 8100 for $48.00. I was out of contract with them but been with them since before the merger of 03. The trick to get that price was to add a line for $9.99 & drop my old number. Then I was able to use $40.00 in Wal-mart gift cards to purchase my BB for just $12.32 out of pocket. Im also new to the BB world so I don't really know if this deal was good, great, or just ok. Now gotta get tones & wallpapers.

It was $29.99 - it was a refurb, but I think it was maybe an overstock or something because it looks brand spankin new. To think...I wasn't sure I wanted one...
BB 8100 Pearl : Normally costs 300+ Euros here in Belgium but got it when Proximus was doing a cash-back action. Only payed 199.99 For it (nowadays like 280 dollars). Worth every cent imo, GREAT device!
I got mine for $200.00 with a $100.00 mail in rebate ended up paying 100 bucks in the end not bad. then went backa week later cuz hubby wanted one. my monthly bill is about 240.00 a bit expensive but theres worse things i could spend my money on
Love my Blackberry curve
My BB curve was free after $100 in rebates from walmart through letstalk. With tmo I pay about 90 bucks a month including BB unlimited, 1000 text messages, unlimited m2m, insurance and 1000 whenever mins with unlimted nights and weekends. Well worth every single penny!

Basically i got my red 8310 and made money on it. I am a cell phone addict, but i get them for free or really cheap. I have a 4 line family plan, and forgot to upgrade the line i use for 1.5 years, so ATT gave me an extra $50 off my upgrade. Thats when i got my red Treo 680, for $29.( I was a palm addict for the past 4 years) Then i bought the Curve for $99 5 days ago. I recently sold the 680 treo for 175, and then upgraded another line to a 750 treo, for $99, and sold that for $325. So i madde out pretty good in the deal, except for the addiction to BB that i now have. I will never get another phone besides a BB... My plan? for the 4 lines its $300 per month, but my line is $80 primary, 49.99unlimited BB connect, unlimited SMS and MMS.
I have a 8130 on Vz I got for (ne2) for 106 and a $50 reabate. Not bad for the quality of the Pearl. Calling plan cost 70 and 29.95 data.
I probably would have spent that for any new phone I got so the extra is only the monthly data.
IMO it is worth it just in amusement alone and the quality of the phone and BB part makes it hard to put a price on it. I am retired and on a fixed income so to speak(I do sports betting hence love the BB for fast emails)so I have to watch things a bit but still worth it as I spend little for amusement.
Retired and fixed income or not, the BB puts all things up about three levels.
I paid 48 bucks for my retired(maybe) trusty 7130e and still prefer it to the 8130 for most things so I may take the 8130 back or sell it on ebay. Time will tell. I will get a Curve if and when VZ comes out with it even if I have to pay retail.
