I do believe that we have a lot of gamers on here, so here it is. How many times have you had to send your xbox 360 in because of the ring of death? I had to send mine in twice and after that I had enough and traded it for a ps3. Ive had no problems what so ever with my ps3 either. Also I have never had a problem with my wii either.
My fiance has once, he sent it off, came back and all is good, but he rarely plays that, he is all about his PS3
Mine died once.
I can be a bit impatient, so I just went a bought a new one.
My 3 year old system finally died just recently. Not going to pay $100 to send it in (and not going to buy another for that matter).

Once when it was about 10 months old. Sent it in, got it out and back in about 2 weeks. MS was flawless about the whole thing.
My brother did the same thing. Now he has two incase one dies. I've never even heard of a ps3 having problems.

Had mine since the christmas it}debuted and had to send it in once. That was a freezing issue and not ring of death though.

I got the red rings 2 times. Both times I was playing Chromehounds so I haven't touched that game since and refuse to ever put it back in my box.

I'm on my third 360. Got an Elite this time. So far so good.
i've had my 360 for about 8 months...no probs yet...but it's so loud compared to my ps3!!!!
(have had a ps3 since launch day...NEVER ANY PROBLEMS!!)

got ring of death just outside of warranty period. did some research and wrapped her up in towels for about an hour to overheat it about 4 times. worked for a little while each time then would crash again. gave up and got PS3. smooth sailing.
