    Mine was shorter as I tend to keep my devices slightly longer:

    8300 -> 8320 -> 9780 -> My new and wonderful 9860

    8310 sold me on BB. When that contract was up ...
    9000 was better, but after awhile I wanted a bigger screen and better browser, so ...
    9800 fit the bill, until ...
    9810 with BB7 came out; but then a month later I made the mistake of playing with a ...
    9900 in the toy phone store and instantly fell in lust and bought one outright.

    Playbook came somewhere in the middle of the 9800's tenure.

    My work has sent me yet another replacement Berry. I had the 9700 which I maintain is one of the best ever made. This new one I fear is a step down even though some of the specs are an improvement. Still, I will give it a fair chance and see if it can do the job. The only real downside to this whole thing is that they severely limit what I can do with it. I can use the software that comes on it but I can never ever upgrade any app or add additional apps (so basically no downloads). I am also severely limited in copying files over to it due to the encryption but hey, one makes due with what one has. It at least gives me a chance to see if I'd actually want to have one for my person use. This new 9360 (Curve) is very sleek and light weight. Still, if I got one for myself it would probably be in the 9900 series. Bigger is better, right?

    With some RESEARCH and a lot of LUCK (knocking on wood).......I've had THREE(3) BLACKBERRY phones (8330, 9650 and 9930), I also have a PlayBook, so I guess that's a total of four BlackBerry devices. No problems with any of them (still knocking)
