I have about 15 messenger contacts and they are all friends. Everyone of them I knew before I had a BB.

I have yet to even use BBM. I don't know anyone in person who uses it, and always feel awkward messaging random people haha. I haven't done that since I was about 13.

The internet is a great way to make friends, but... I do know some cases where it's turned creepy. But on balance, I've had and heard of a lot more great experiences than the opposite. For me, it's purely a practical matter. I have two kids, a 6-7 day a week job that requires overnight stays... and very little domestic help, so to speak. I CAN'T go "out" with people so much, so the internet is my social outlet.

Oh.. ADD.. got sidetracked, indeed, I have met some here that I would HATE to live without, that's for sure.

I have a couple BBm friends that I have chatted with through this site. But I have never met any of them. Not from the lack of them asking though. I live in the middle of nowhere and kinda like it here. Everybody lives to far away. So I wish they would quit asking to meet me. Ughhhh. I know I'm too much to resist but come on. LOL

Half the people on my BBM list are friends and family. I also have people from my email loop and a couple from CB. I have made some 'friends' from CB but I think most people on here lie- for what reason, I don't know. People who lie, IMO are lame.
