Depends on who it is. If its a friend or family member its typically "yeah" or "uh huh" or something of that sort. Numbers I don't know or business calls get the standard "hello".

definitely depends on who is calling (or what day it is). If it's a personal call from someone I know, I usually say "hello <caller's name>". If it's a work call (judging from the caller ID) I'll usually answer "Hello, <my name>" If I don't know who it is, then just a hello.
If it's a particular holiday, I'll answer with that holiday's greeting, such as "Merry Christmas" on 12/25, "Happy New Year!" (with a bit of drunken slur) on 1/1, "avast ye scurvy bilge rat" on 9/19, etc

Work/Businesses get the standard "hello"
Blocked ID (or unrecognised numbers) usually are greeted by my voicemail
Unknown numbers talk to the voicemail, unless it's probably a company calling me back for a job interview. I don't program them into my phone, but I try to memorize area code and the first 3 numbers when I apply. (Can't miss the call that could lead to being a millionaire!!)
Other than that, most people get a 'ello! (My hellos tend to sound like "yellow")
For certain friends who have special nicknames, they'll get a "Hey, (insert nickname here), what's up?"

Well I have an app called fancy shake which I basically shake my phone to answer my phone call but this is what I say hey,hello,what's up girl or bro,and what you want

Sometimes I just start a conversation like with a friend the other day, he was honking at me and I didn't look over because I don't usually when people have no insane reason for doing that and didn't recognize the vehicle and then I got a call and started in as "was that you?"
Either a hello in a random foreign accent, or "yeah", sometimes "go ahead". The way I see it is that if you called me, you get to identify yourself and who you're looking for first.

If I see it's one of my friends calling I usually just pick up the phone already insulting them *Click* "Why the heck does this loser keep calling me? You'd think he'd get the message..." But I usually add some more colourful words
sometimez i say 'Yo!" Or 'wassup' and the name of the person who is calling me
