So weird, silly question, I like hot dogs and was having one today when I wondered, "Are hot dogs ready to eat right out of the package?"
I figured that they are fine to eat raw, but I didn't really know. I dunno, maybe they are cooked during the manufacturing process.
*shrugs* Help a "dog" out! LOL.

i think they're gtg straight out of the package....but i dont eat these things so i dont know.....but ive seen people eat them raw...
I've eaten them right out of the package before, no harm done! :)
when you boil them .....they float, thats how i decide if they are gtg.....but on the grill is the best
Yes, according to Statute 501(c) of the meal code, hot dogs are considered a MRE. Meal, ready-to-eat.

Yeah. Wieners are ready to eat out of the package.
If the package says "Fully Cooked" yes. If there are actual cooking
instructions no.
Hot dogs make me gag because I can't readily identify what it is made off so I can't bring myself to eat it.

An uncooked hot dog is just bologna in a tube! I know I'm gonna get a smart aleck reaponse to that... ;) But that's what they taste like! Digging myself deeper here... I'll shut up now. :)
