from someone in the marketing industry, go with number One. It at a glance tells me what you are and what you do. Immediately I knew it was about body building or fitness. Go with that one.
I'm privy to the second one, seems to be professionally done better tailored so to speak. Individually speaking it reaches out to me.
As stated one poster didn't make out that the figure spelled out your name. It's cool once one catches on, but you have a very small window for first impressions.

As logos go, I say #1 hits the mark esp if it'll be on a business card your name and contact details will be there so there's no problem at clients not seeing your name.
I'd choose #1 but the words 'PERSONAL TRAINER' should be bolder to stand out just like the words in #2. Also it would look nice if the 'R' of trainer in the first logo had that dumbbell attached to it like the one in logo #2 then that would look really sweet.
