Hey guys, I keep seeing concept ideas about different things here like phones and os's. I tried earlier and they were bad. Can someone please help by giving easy but effective programs, a mini how-to guide and tips.

    Thanks so much

I'm quite surprised no one here is helping out. Like what happened to people helping other people? I help people whenever I can. Plus, I know at least a handful of you are quite good.

Maybe I phrased the question wrong? Fine I'll give it another go.

I have a windows 7 pc (soon to get a windows 8 pc). I have little experience of photoshopping. I would like to learn. Can anyone give me a good program, a guide and some tips that are both effective and simple?

Thanks to whoever wants to help me

Photoshop is a great program to learn. It is very expensive and very labor intensive when learning it. But you can't beat the results. There are lots of tutorials online. That's how I taught myself to use it.

Of course, you need to buy a copy first.

As for other graphics programs, there is Paint.net....it's free and can do a lot. Not as much as Photoshop but for free you can't complain.

First, you only just posted....give it a little while,

Ok, do you have photoshop? The best way to learn is to search for tutorials, and on- line videos.
    That's the way I learned.
Also, if oh don't have it, try Gimp - it's free and similar however not as robust.

It depends what you want to do.

Phone concepts = 3d renderings done in 3d studio max, maya, blender.

    Photoshop for touching up, editing

    Illustrator for illustrations

Fireworks / sketch (mac) Web design
