Ok so for the last couple weeks I've been looking for a nice Swiss made watch around the $500 range. I purchase a Guess Collection chronograph watch mainly because of the looks and it was $390 w/tax (Normaly $500)
Anyhow have one or know good details about them.
I figured since the watch was swiss made (They are even numbered) that it was a good quality buy.
(Included with this purchase I found a Burberry for $300)

You paid way too much for a watch of this quality. Yes, it has
some very good design elements (Super Luminova, Ionic plating,
screw down crown, etc...) but a decent automatic and maybe even
a mechanical would have run you the same.
I would never pay $400.00 for a quartz watch, no matter where
it was made. Guess is not a watchmaker and I doubt highly that
they have one single horologist on staff.
How are Fendi watches...anyone know if they're nice quality and such?
Same as Guess, Gucci, Kenneth Cole and every other clothing manufacturer.
This is not their primary business. They turn out "fashion pieces" NOT
timepieces.
