Going on 15 years w/ BlackBerry. Between the weird glitches, lack of support, lack of presence etc. I was still holding on. Now this Facebook issue goodness gracious. I mean I don't use it that much but it just the principle of the matter. I feel like I'm trapped between a rock and a hard place. I can't stand Android so I'm not in a hurry to put those big a__ slabs up to my head. I'm not to pressed with Apple's 'controlled' OS either. What are the options for a BlackBerry user nowadays?

OT: I am not a long time user, so I don't have a lot to say about the bad stuff I haven't found, but I am seeing the principle many are trying to make about all this. It does suck to be in this time. I am loving my Passport though.

After using a BlackBerry from a Curve 9300, moving up to a 9800, 9900, Z10, and Z30, the recent turn of events also caused me to move on because it's hopeless at this point. I was considering the Priv but I realised I could get better devices with the same price.

I love BlackBerry, and I loved all the potential it had, but it was just pointless for me to hang around with them any longer.

When it gets to the point of needing to choose a new device after BlackBerry dies.....yes it will be very hard....to choose what device I'm going to use next. It has to be as robust as my Passport, though. Nothing tiny in size. My Passport is a beast! It gets the job done, and that's what I need to keep a smile on my face.
