I drive 100 miles to work and back each day. My Mini gets arround 30 mpg. I have to fill up twice a week.

So it less starbucks for me until I find a job closer to home.

im looking at moving to AZ because of the gas prices here in CA...
its almost a buck cheaper in TUC right now and i had to tell my boss that i cant afford to work there anymore unless they give me a fairly good raise... which they wont.

Now with higher gas prices, it costs to fill up my truck. Lol. ****ty since my job just moved. Now have double the drive. Fortunately to keep me around gave me 2 raises and a weekly bonus for gas

Gas here is subsidised. Am paying abt $0.48US a litre. I can full up with abt $20.80US.

They talking abt removing tht subsidy. But nothing for certain.

Oh, and my life is not really affected. I still have to drive to my work centres. So high or low I would still have to use my car.

My car is really good on gas so it only takes $37-$40 to fill up right now (I drive a Honda)...thank goodness. For now I still do all of the things/go all the places I did before the rise in prices but I will cut back if gas goes up to $6.
