Forgive me if theres a topic about this already... i did take a quick look but didn't see one.

What's the price of gas in your area?

its 1.49/L here in Victoria, and its about to go up another 2.5 cents /L at midnight tonight when our LOVELY goverment introduces the new 'carbon tax'
its supposed to encourage us to stop driving and find other means of transportation.

i went to fill up just now before it goes in place..seems like everyone in Victoria has the same idea..gas stations are PACKED tonight.


so..what's the prices like in your area?

It's not the gas SELLERS who are the thiefs, it's the oil companys....the stiffs in suits, not the people behind the counter...we are having to choose between gas or food (or so the stories go), while BIG OIL is profiting in the MILLIONS and BILLIONS...shameful...

$4.42 in Portland, Oregon............and I drive a guzzlin sport ute - but at 9mpg and 30-35 gallons a week.....I don't care.......as long as the BB works I am cool....
