The reason I decided to follow Crackberry was because of the great support and offerings of all BlacBerry news and ideas. I've been enjoying the writing of the staff and the positive and thoughtful comments from the forums. I chose to simply pass over and ignore the negative comments. I cannot, however, overlook the apparent approval and encouragement of porn. It seems to me that you need to decide what level of professionalism you want to be identified with. We all have the right to make our own lifestyle choices but we do not have the right to impose them on others. I truly hope you will decide to be sensitive to all of your followers.
Impose them on others, you mean exactly what you just did?

Crackberry Forums is a "moderated" site.

Moderation, liability and terms of use

    Moderated sites
When a site is moderated, either before content appears or shortly thereafter, the operator of the site assumes responsibility for the material that appears. If inappropriate content is posted on the site, and the moderators have failed to find it and deal with it appropriately, then the operator may become liable for that content. This makes moderating content a relatively high-risk and labour-intensive approach, and as a result many sites choose not to moderate, but to rely on a complaints process. However, it is readily accepted that there is a greater moral imperative to moderate the content of some types of sites for instance those which are used by children. By moderating the site the operator puts its trust in the individuals who act as moderators, and these moderators must be given clear guidelines on how to fulfill their role.

This goes for posts from folks looking for "fun" in the main forums, to images that users and owners post on the website to what is said and who is allowed access to it. per age etc.

Many of us find that this is not inappropriate content though, as it really isn't. Also, how would CB be liable? For what would they be liable for from a legal stand point? Also, what you posted is for UK laws, CB is hosted in the US.

I have always found the forums censoring software way too strict.
