One of the greatest mysteries to me about society is why sex is considered taboo and people are so scared about mentioning it. Why is it such a big issue? You're actually OFFENDED by looking at the picture in the article? We were all the product of sex. Sex is normal. People should feel normal for talking about sex. Sex. Sex. Sex. Porn. Porn. Porn. Who cares. Stop being a whiny little baby and asking people to apologize for talking about what's normal.

The article was not bad but the pic with someone biting the cookie mans crotch was way out of line.

Also the folks posting their sexual preference/desires and BBM contacts is not needed as well.

CB needs to think of the underage visitors and what legal damage could be done should an adult lure a minor via these forums.

This I have pointed out before just to be penalized for it.

It will happen and its time something is done about it

exactly what was posted that is inappropriate for children? innuendo is not illegal, to be honest, there is this level of innuendo in childrens cartoons for adults to enjoy while they watch it with their kids. this is pure silliness. i can only hope you are joking, and if you aren't, may i never take myself as seriously as you do. this is one of the tamest tech blogs around, probably not even one of, probably THE tamest. the article is PG at worst. if this were violence, would you feel the same way?

    Hi OP,
I understand where you're coming from. However, I do not believe in censorship. CB has the right to post what they like. I have spent enough time here to know their style. Take posts like the one that offended you and made you speak up with a grain of salt. I thought it was hilarious, but I know a few others won't feel the same way.

I did have a bit of a problem with the bikini post. Not because I was offended, but because I was jealous a hot girl got chosen to win a Z10 and mine was more of a "pay it forward" kind of idea that was not chosen. But, I spoke my peace about how she was only chosen for her looks, and the majority of the readers liked the bikini model. I felt bad about what I said and Kevin did address the issue in a fair, but lighthearted way in the next blog post. I respect what he said and I moved on from it. There will be other Z10 contests where I have a chance of winning. I continue to read CB on a daily basis and receive a lot of good knowledge about BB from the staff and its members.

You were curious enough to click on the article to read it, even though it bothered you. It's human nature to be curious about sex, no matter what your background. Sex is a natural part of life. Some aspects of sexuality do make people uncomfortable, and that's understandable. I truly believe that Bla1ze was only giving us a laugh like he usually does and there was no harm meant. I mean, it's only a suggestive picture of a *cookie*! :-P

Also, there are people who would welcome the advice on how to hide porn on their phones, so it was still in line with helpful BB tips they offer. We are all adults here and most of us are open-minded enough to see that CB has an edgy side to it. You can choose to read the articles that are more valuable to you, or not. That is what I have done and will continue to do.

P.S. Plus, CB did give me a sweet prize, so I can't really complain too much. :-)

It's a historical thing. (Surprise, surprise) All to do with religion. Some societies are worse than others. Some societies are more hypocritical than others.

What pains me is the hypocracy of a society who happily accept violence in films and on tv (and video games and so on...), but then throw a hissy fit because of something as natural as the naked human form... Gleefully trying to impose their twisted views of what is right and wrong on others.

I'm not commenting on the OP in this [small] rant, I'm just talking about some societies in general.

Sounds like someone is to fearful to admit they look at porn, hence the reason the post is offensive to them. Just be glad they haven't designed an app "to hide the body". What has this world come to??

Some people have just lost all concept of what is appropriate or not. There's no hope anymore. They're fine with their kids playing video games where they chop other people's heads off, but when a wardrobe malfunction happens at the Superbowl halftime show, they join a class-action lawsuit because they were 'offended'. Everything is warped.

I'm not planning to reply to individual posts on this, but since this is pretty representative of what people are likely to say, I'll pick yours. No offense. ;-)

I am considered a very humorous person by my friends and family. I am *not* an in-your-face moralist or a religious zealot. I'm neither a lefty or a righty in my political views. What I *am* is a father of two, a C-level professional and a devoted fanboy of this site, having been here for over 4 years. I want it to continue to grow up and be the one-stop shop for this addictive thing we call the BlackBerry experience. Part of growing up is trying to appeal to as wide a population base as possible and finding a balance between editorial edginess and information. I don't want this site to become some kind of dry CNET-like news site. That "just ain't my thang". If I found this offensive, lots of others did too. I'm not on a crusade, vendetta or mission. I want (sorry, *expect*) better from the mods on this site.
That's part of the beauty of being site admins, they can post what they like

You should change your avatar, I find the plumbers crack highly offensive. Also, why not have a cat in it? You do realize you are alienating a large percentage of the population that are not dog lovers, right?

The CrackBerry blogger likely meant the article and headline to be light-hearted humour. You would be surprised, or maybe not, at the level of depravity engaged in by the pious pontifications preachers in every society be it Christian, Jewish, Amish, Muslim, Atheist, etc. Bla1ze definitely wrote the article to lighten the mood of the CrackBerry Nation in the post-launch days of BlackBerry 10.

People getting all uptight accusing others of being uptight .... really not how strong opinions gets expressed on most other CB threads. Well, sometimes we do, but then the rude people get called trolls and promptly meet with the displeasure of the group. Geez CB Nation .... where is the ol' comraderie, tolerance, respect and humor? I am getting an image of too many clenching jaws, furrowing brows and slamming doors. This is CB, guys! Remember? The OP brought an important topic up in a very respectful way and is not allowed to have an opionion?
