I feel like it's a free site and if it gets to wild I will go elsewhere, but I don't think someone should decide what I or anyone else can and can't see. The Crackberry team is here to make a profit in the end and the market will reward or punish them based on what they deliver.

somewhat agree with OP. Post was fine - could have done without the picture. I get that it was heavily censored. I even smile at the use of the gingerbread man - It introduced a new genre of porn to me. But pic was NSFW and not safe for around the kitchen table with family around. A little more discretion would have seemed reasonable.

Yeah, well I've been told to lighten up with respect to my comment about this post. Here's the thing...I can't. This site is frequented by people of different races, creeds, religions, ages, and sensibilities. I've been on this site for quite a few years and seen a lot of edgy stuff and really appreciate it but this is over the top and I want the site admins to take it down and apologize. I've watched this site grow over the years to a one-stop fountain of knowledge about all things BlackBerry. It's also a place where, with few exceptions, people are respectful of one anothers' opinions even when they disagree.

Part of having certain standards is making a stand. You see, it's part of the word itself, isn't it? This site has to reach for a higher standard than it did in its early days because its reaching a larger audience than it did back in the day.

So, It offends me, yes. Does it make me a prude? I don't think so. I'm writing this because I care.

There is nothing to take down and apologize for until the general opinion is in agreement with your views.

I usually agree with Chris on a lot of things, BUT the general impression of this title in particular is that he is actually trying to be a little sarcastic and implement that anyone needing to hide "items" on the BB are those needing to hide porn. I personally feel he could have used a different title and used say a "Top Secret" document such as from the board game Top Secret. Once again this is only my personal opinion.

PS. I have a mess load of porn on my phone but I could care less if anyone sees them. Except for the Donkey / Midget porn.

my vote is keep everything the way it is. the cb team can continue to post anything they like, and they can use as much seriousness or humor that they want with their free site.

I found the post very helpful. Blackberry does not always inform us of changes like this ahead of this, so I depend on the posts and forums to inform us of findings. Bla1ze I loved the post laughed the whole time.

Shouldn't there be an "after dark" type subforum for those interested in this kind of thing (maybe there is I wouldn't need it and haven't searched - and if there is that's where this kind of post belongs no?). I believe I remember Jerry on AC saying there was one over there. I am sure those who need to know how to hide their porn would know to go there and search out Blaze then it's out of the sight lines by those who are offended by it.

It didn't bother me but I do admit to an "oh my" when I read it, and then just brushed it off for the times we live in. Not sure that's the right reaction in fairness. I am pretty sure the CrackBerry guys knew when it got up there they would hear about it. I guess they decided to go with it anyway. I just think there are better ways to do it, don't you want everyone possible to read this site? Why offend when you most likely knew it would, and there is a work around this?

My humble opinion - it is what it is.
