In Internet culture, a lurker is a person who reads discussions on a message board, newsgroup, chatroom, file sharing or other interactive system, but rarely participates.
An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial and usually irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the intention of baiting other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.
Hey I met one of those the other day, a member here for months and he decided to bait me with his first ever post. Hmmm. It was no big deal and I might have misunderstood, but, I did find it funny because my thread was pretty lame. I was curious about something and asked for help. Poor guy didn't get it.

Don't be flattered! Thinking about it, I think he was trying to be funny by saying you're always here. Why your time on the site would matter is a mystery.
Interesting, B/c there are days when I think 'hmmm, haven't seen J today!'
