i dont care what anyone says... i like the version with the voice over...

i saw it when it was released in theaters so thats the one i associate with being the ONE...

I totally understand that POV. I was too young to see it in the theatres. But that was the first video version I saw of it. The VO isn't bad. The melancholy is cranked up without it though.

I also like the fact that they clipped the happy ending out in later versions. But hey, this is a movie that is open to WIDE interpretation. That is why it is the best movie the 80s coughed up.

Generation Kill looks interesting and I'm actually forward to it.

I LOVED Rome and The Corner. Oh, The Corner, that was real. My mom tried to get me into the Wire, but then Comcast got crazy with how much they wanted for premium channels and I cancelled it. The Wire is on my NetFlix list, though!

I have to think about my favorite movie, but favorite show would be FAMILY GUY! Dr.: give ME a 40 and I could recite those lines ALL day.

one flew over the cuckoos nest (i KNOW that indian can talk and when he says "mmm juicyfruit..." it STILL stirs me up...)

blazing saddles (arguably the funniest movie ever and if you can't see why i cant help ya...)

i'll think of some more...my mental rolodex is on the fritz...

both are sort of mysteries so the FIRST watch is always the most important... (once you know what happens its not the same)

and the usual suspects

both released in 1995

both have kevin spacey in a leading role

(as a villain)

tell me you KNEW how either of those movies would end before you saw it and i will call you a liar right to your face...
