Hey folks, I am a complete noob where Fantasy sports are concerned, (I actually played in one FF league from Yahoo YEARS ago and didnt have a clue what I was doing and placed last, I had Michael Vick as a starter when he was with the Falcons early in his career, the year he got hurt and didn't have a backup QB that played, hence my terrible season LOL).
If this is too off-topic for this thread let me know, but I was wondering how you all got into it and what is the best way to get better, since I love football and think this would be another way to enjoy the sport.
BTW I joined the BBM group to watch and see, since I have always wanted to try it out.
A lot of sites that have mock drafts give you the option to use your picks as if it would a auto draft including yahoo. I've noticed most on there select auto pick. Not all but most. However, there isn't an option for a 20 person draft.

Exactly, so we will watch the computer pick for us
But that can be kinda exciting as it IS a crap shoot.
i agree with jaydee...one BIG crap shoot and then there's gonna be alot of trading going on i'm sure.
we had our draft lottery for my big $$ league last night...i got the #3 pick! i hear the guy in front of me will get vick if he's available (which he should) so that should leave me AP, Foster or Johnson (TEN).

Nice! I have AP in my $$$ local league. Let's hope he has a better season this year than last.
Yeah. I noticed this morning that I had drafted a team. lol
Let the waivers and trades begin.
With 20 people, the talent pool is pretty shallow tho as far as starters go....
My team ain't bad, got the best QB, Rodgers, PLUS my 2nd guy is a starter also Colt McCoy (Who the HECK is that, BUT he's a starter), and I got Mike Williams, Santana Moss, and a few other nice starters. Rodgers is the gem though! And a second starting QB, who appears to be a young talent.
