Like everyone else, I was eager to see the Tour2 arrive but on second thought, why? I have no contract with VZW, it expired in September and I like that, it would be tough to go back to being locked in for two more years.
I have an 8330 that seems to do everything I need so..... why upgrade?
Maybe I'll splurge for a new case for the old Curve and just wait for the Tour3!
I don't know much about release dates and stuff but ive been following this forum cuz im dying for the tour2 like everyone else LOL....but i went to verizon's site today and it lists the tour as "out of stock"....could this mean anything regarding the release? thanks for help in advance =)
my b-day is on sunday and my husband wants to get me a gift and i want the d*mn tour2 so bad but my patience is gone...
would it be a big mistake to get the tour 1 now?
Since you got an answer in the other thread, I'll give you my advice. Take the risk you have 30 days. The Tour is now a great device. What if the T2 doesn't come out for 3 months? That's 3 months of being non-blackberry and 3 months of "tourment" waiting for something.

I'd wait. If it takes longer than 30 days to come out, enjoy your Tour 1, cause you'll be stuck with it. If it comes out within 30 days, you pay $35 and the difference for the restocking fee. Personally, I'd rather not risk being stuck with a phone I didn't really want, and I'd rather be patient than $35 poorer. $35 might not be much, but every penny counts, and why waste it? The price of impatience?

my sentiments exactly, I would never buy something I do not want. I'd much rather wait to get just what I want..... $35.00 is alot of money when u have no job
I just went to Verizon's website and it showed both Tours, with and without camera, in stock.
A device can be out of stock in one zip code and not another. This is why Verizon asks for your zip code when you choose to search for phones etc on their website. There are more than one stocking facility in the country and hence the two different stock, not in stock reads.
You do know you can't go around spouting off dates and insisting you're correct without giving some kind of reference as to why your statement should be plausible, right?
Granted that both of your posts have been nothing beyond this, I'm gonna have to designate you a troll in my book.
