I just got done ordering an OtterBox Defender case for my soon to be ordered Blackberry Bold 9650. I ordered directly from OtterBox.com and the price was $49.95 but I found a discount code to knock 10% off of it and give you free shipping. I ended up going for the 2 day FedEx shipping for $10.97. All in all, got a $50 case plus upgraded 2-day shipping for $55.92. I'm hoping they arrive at the same time from my FedEx delivery guy!

what would be the easiest thing to do would be to put the new battery that comes with the phone, in the blackberry, let it boot up and then call vzw from your house phone or another phone besides the 2 cell phones. Just tell them that you just got your new bb in the mail and need help activating it. I know when I got one of my replacement curves it only tells you to do like half of the steps that you need to do to use the phone.

When you spend $149 after rebates on a phone, you'll definitely be getting a new battery as well.

As long as you can read and follow written instructions you won't need to go to your local store for activation.

Open package, read and follow instructions and you'll be on your way to activating your new Bold 9650 from the comfort of your own home and won't have to bother waiting in line at the store.

Now that its finally been announced i can let me guard down and become excited. Ive seen to many of these rumored dates come and go to get excited before i heard a word from vzw. First off, I think that threads are created and populated because people of a like mind congregate there for camaraderie and friendship. In this spirit, I believe the moderators should consider carefully if this thread needs to be closed after the Essex is released.
