Only way you have to deal with the mail in rebate is if you wait and purchase it in the store; best to do it online or call them, rebate is applied immediately, and you get the phone sooner.
Just a question.. Ive never ordered a phone online before, is there an option to bill it on next months bill?
I just called my verizon store and asked them when my ne2 was. It is in August. The guy told me if i bought the bold tomorrow then i would lose my ne2 and have to pay 20 bucks on top of the 149.99. wtf. what should i do?
As Meredith Grey would have said: " Seriously? " LOL!! I would eat bagged lunches for a week and pay it ( but hey that's just me... LOL! )
"There's a party going on right here a celebration
to last throughout the years.
So bring your good times and your laughter too
we're gonna celebrate your party with you
Come on now (Celebration)
let's all celebrate and have a good time.

We go celebrate and have a good time."

Don't call the store. Call customer service. I believe you would not lose your NE2 credit. You would pay the two year contract price now and would still have the NE2 credit on your account come August.

let me know if that works. technically it shouldn't b/c then you could get new phones at subsidized prices every few months. a supervisor needs to approve 2yr pricing before ne2.
Hey VZN Fans...Glad we got official news..For everyone that doesn't have a NE2 coming soon..Im really convince that Me and some of you will get an early upgrade promotion to upgrade to the 9650...So far I received 2 but never used it....So when tmw 12:03am comes I will be talking to someone to allow me to use an expire coupon/promotion..Who else feel like a little kid anxious on Xmas eve
Good work everybody! Upped this Thread's post count by a 100 in a little over 12 hours. A couple more VZW press releases should do the trick. 6000, Here we come.................
Is that what it has been in the past? Just wondering because I am seriously considering only a one year contract. With out little a bump in hardware the Bold is, it is going to be quickly outdated in two years.
With the price cut already, I don't know why Verizon would already offer the BOGO...think they would save that for a little later to boost sales as needed.

We could teach Testman a thing or two. We have had the breaking new right here in this thread since last Thursday...
Oh and speaking of Thursday....
only 12 and 1/2 hours to a new Bold 9650 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
jaydee, you may have to remove the quote in your signature from bigbadwulf, I'm thinking you have used up all of the patience that you had waiting for this phone to drop.
Bob,
I have tried to remain calm, but it doesn't always work out that way!
However, I wanted to ask opinion about using device switch wizrd to go from one phone to another. Do you not think it would be better to just transfer .ipd with contacts and calendar and that's it. And then install all programs one at a time by downloading and installing them from original files or websites?
What do you think? Exercise in futility? Give a cleaner install? Gain nothing from doing this?
Ideas? Opinions? I'd be interested to know.
Of course, I recently had to jump to another device and I had to leave most of my apps behind on my crippled 8330 so i WILL be downloading them one at a time but some I can transfer...should I?
The way I have it figured we have a post on this thread for every hour that Verizon made us wait for this phone since late 2009.
5512/24 hours = 229.667 days
229.667 days/30 = 7.66 months (approximately)
I wonder if we would have kept the post count down if we'd all have ours already? lol
