Hey, I'm not being pessimistic and/or trying to bring anyone down! I was just expressing concern. Has Verizon ever released a device without making an official statement?

Is there any reason at all to expect this date to be any different than the half dozen other dates that have been thrown around in here?

I know the Storm2 was released within days of it's announcement so it's very possible VZW could release a press notice,say tomorrow.

To me you mean more like January 1st, February 1st, March 1st, April 1st, May 1st and even June 1st.

I'm already anticipating themes, and how I want to make my own but I have no idea how/where to find the little icon replacements. Maybe working on that for the next few days will keep me busy.

Making themes is quite a job! I have made themes for my 8330 and they're easy but the Bold/Tour...yikes. Let's just say ya gotta have a clear head so that means...well, we know I have to stop celebrating the 9650 before I can start making themes again.

BUT do check out the themes here. You can use ANY 9700, 8900, and 9630 themes on your new 9650. They will all work flawlessly.

And that's a lot to choose from! There are a ton of beautiful ones in the forums! I have downloaded a bunch to put on my memory card to install after I have my phone loaded up the way I want with apps and such.

Oh and back up your phones while you're waiting too!!!

Well good work everybody.Knocked out 100+ posts today. At this rate I'm pretty confident we'll be hitting the 6000 post mark by the time the first of us will be getting their first 9650s from VZW.

Have not posted here, but have been anxiously waiting the release of the 9650 on Verizon. I just spoke to Verizon rep. He said they are available for order on the 3rd, but will not ship until the 10. Is that what everyone else has been told? Can't wait to get this phone!!
