I gradually over the last week note a marked drop in my battery life. I am just finishing a wipe and fresh reload of 1055. This is as bad as I remembered.
I saw two new issues today after I reloaded 1055. First, the device reports my software version as 10.2.1.176 -- first time it's shown anything but "unavailable ". Second, I found after my reload that Link won't allow remote file access to my Z10 because Link requires the OS to be 10.1 or greater. The issue isn't Link, because it happens on two computers. My newly-loaded Z10 is apparently reporting that it's running something different from what I loaded. Crazy, huh?
UPDATE (Friday - 05:20) - Link RFA recognizes my Z10 now as having 1055. I'm not sure what OS my Z was reporting and I didn't do anything to fix it. It just works today.
At least, through my tired haze I knew what she meant. And, yes, I finally realized that the BANNER meant what it said, Swipe RIGHT means reveal stuff to the left. My problem - I still don't truly know left from right. I was swiping to reveal the 2nd/3rd etc pages rather than the Active Frames page which is to the left and revealed by, well, swiping right!!! I similarly flunked my first driving test when TESTOR said I told you to turn "right" to which I foolishly responded, "I DID"! No, I did NOT. I should have said, "oh, sorry!" I was very deliberate on my next test.
I am trying to download the free movie. Wifi is rather slow, probably based on my dsl connection. When I purchased movies last week, I could turn off wifi and use the phone's data plan and the download went really fast. I wonder if the limitation is on the freebie. I may try a paid-movie later and see if I can use data. When I turn off wifi, I get the following error - screen capture:
OKAY!!! Under the regular OS's for the Z10, the wifi would not work for my DataVault sync process. I gather this BBWorld app but android port did not find wifi. It said it could not find wifi. But with the LEAK 10.2.1.xxxx, I just decided to check again. The Sync process worked. YAY!
Oh, it is sometimes the little things that brighten the day. Well, that and finding the Strata (one of those bake breakfasts, bread, eggs, ham, cheese, etc nicely layered) that my friend brought over yesterday but that I forgot about. I was just going to have a COLD smoothie but now I can have a nice homemade breakfast!
Who cares if Miracle on 34th takes hours and hours to download!
We had a great time at the game. I will post a few pics to my post here afterwards. It snowed. Was 30. not too cold. But the sleet was bouncing off the top of my hot cocoa cup!! Hitting me in the eye!
It sleeted and then went to freezing rain and we were soaked pretty much and cold after a long day of standing in it all!
Looks just a bit chilly. I probably would have frozen my toes off, never mind other areas of the anatomy. I see you were standing next to the hot chocolate purveyor!
Yes I actually did have a hot cocoa. But at 5 dollars a cup I only had one! I waited till I got back to the hotel to eat and drink.
It was slippery walking down the mile long hill to the metro. There were about two inches of sleet on the sidewalk and it was slushy and slippery. We were getting cold about then because our clothes were feeling a bit moldy. Lol
