The leaves are finally gone?
Good! Just in time for the snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, but I'd guess the main bulk are gone. I should go out and take a photo. The rest will drift slowly to the ground driving me crazy for the next 3 months or so. About three or four trees still have quite a lot of leaves. To quote a site:
"Pin Oak trees have bronze or red leaves in the autumn. They fade to russet brown and remain on the tree through the winter, dropping the following spring as new leaves grow."
The snow is in the mountains. The predictions are a normal winter which means not much lowland snow. But we will send the moisture your way where it can mix with that cold air and provide plenty of shoveling entertainment.

I don't NEED shoveling entertainment. I need gun and tonic entertainment.
LMAO!

I had a great lamb burger and an apple/blackberry hard cider tonight - very, very nice. I did some Port the other day. She who can't be NOT obeyed came over and since disorder reigns after the carpeting, rearranged my entire den/computer room. Still adjusting. I took her out to dinner - just to end the rearranging!

That's the way...get her out of the house so you can have some peace!!!
LMAO
We got some snow last night. A few inches of wind-driven icy covered snow...very crunchy and about 18 degrees here. Big snow on Wednesday!

Stay warm and safe. Oh, that's right, on the news today, they said the storm now in the SW is heading eastward and then north through NY to New England. More bright sun - we are going to get spoiled. Bike rode today about 16 miles - chilly so broke it up with a stop at Trader Joes - Pita Chips!
House remains, well, interesting. I can't find the power supply for one of my external hard drives. Can't find the battery charger for my electric insoles. I guess I need to keep digging.....
Feeling better except for the coughing, but can't wait for the Turkey!!
Oh, is Jaydee visiting? (in the old days, it was g,d&r - grin, duck and run). Just kidding, Jaydee, just kidding. Besides, Hamster probably wants a brined turkey and not a pickled one!
Happy Black Friday Ramblers!!!
Anyone braving the crowds to go shopping? I am going to go to a Mall tomorrow.
Today is for decorating my Christmas tree and getting some groceries for the weekend.
