I went into the 5000 thread today for the first time in a long time. It seems ok to me.

I didn't care for Z saying I had pants on when I was talking to Rellskie about the Bbm for android. If I have to be policed about what in say then it's not the thread for me. I can't say anything around CJ and now in can't say anything around Z? I'm tired of it. I'm gonna have to stay out for a while

Did you really think BBRY would hit their release date? Too many people would die of heart failure.

Yes I do believe it will show today or tomorrow. Too bad they set 7 am though as obviously Google doesn't want to cooperate.

Well you should know better than to doubt Underway!
He was right! I got rid of that stuck email from the hub after I deleted my account. Let's hope all my contacts come back and I'm all set.

I've had three spontaneous reboots since I loaded this 1425-1372 hybrid leak. This is the longest I've run an OS on this device. For those who have had the reboots, do they get better or worse over time?

Never experienced reboots with my device. With 10.0 I did and they got worse over time. Up to 2 a day.
But with leaks...never.

I started with loading 1047 out of the box, then 1443 and last week this hybrid. Maybe it's time for straight 1725 or 1743?

I moved to 1047 from what I had in the box I think. Never had reboots after that.

I've never had reboots on any OS. I'm now still on .1443 and working well.

From what I've read, a lot of folks loaded 1047 and left things alone. I've not read of many issues with 1725/1743 (I say 1725/1743 because they are almost identical) that aren't operator error.

My Android runtime froze a few minutes ago, forcing me to reboot. I wonder if there's a connection?

Gotcha, I just ignore CJ. He just rubs me the wrong way. As far as Z, I don't take anything he says as serious, even if he is.

So it appears that the Android BBM (at least the official leaked one) won't work if you are trying to chat with a BlackBerry user that has BBM Channels Beta. We would have to downgrade.

Like I mean really? They didn't know this before?

The BBM channels beta causes some issues with some of the leaked OS. I'm not surprised that it's causing other problems too.

I agree that this should not have been a surprise for the engineering folks. The fact that it apparently slipped past them is really indicative of more of the same-old same-old at BBRY.

I don't understand. There are people all over these forums who BRAG about being testers for this stuff. Why can't they figure this out BEFORE the launch date????

BBRY looks ridiculous and if it isn't their fault, they look even worse! It's out in foreign countries but the US is going to be the last again? Eh. I already have BBM so I guess I shouldn't care.....

I will not downgrade and lose my channels just so iphone users can communicate. They say it doesn't even work like that for Android. So why would anyone downgrade?

Me too! I could have loaded something else but my phone has been perfect except for the battery issue that cropped up yesterday. And BTW it's all back to normal today and fine. Weird.
