Wow Westie!! Beautiful. Where is this? I did some hiking at Mt. Ranier last August ..... really breathtaking too ...... my dream is to walk out on my frnt porch and have a view like this .....
This is the Uintah mountain range..its right out my door! Although...this spot is about 2 hours from my house! AND...this is shot with my Q10! *grins* LOVE it!!
today down to 9,000 and really a travel day with about three miles of hiking. in grand junction at 4,400 feet where it was a mild 99F - yech but great Italian foodwith home made pasta.
HI ramblers! Back from an EPIC backpacking trip....gonna throw a quick photo out to show you what we were enjoying! Very similar to F2...we started out at about 8700 feet and went up to 11800 feet...talk about some amazing high mountain lakes! *grins* sounds like you all had good weekends!
very, very nice. I mostly day hike these days with car camping. but my friend does not like sleepingin a tent anymore since she is, ahem, called too often in the middle of the night.

Beautiful night tour last night of all the sights of DC lit by a full moon and some trips today to Georgetown, the pentagon 9-11 memorial and the national archives. Busy busy!!!!!

it cooled down by 15 - 20 degrees by dinner time. the hiking slacked off a bit. this morning we had thunderbshowers so delayed our bike and changed to a shorter destination. tomorrownwill be home afternoon and evening.

Haha! We haven't been to as many bars because we don't see them like in Savannah. It's different being in Capitol Hill as opposed to another section of town. But we like the ability to hop the metro right across from the hotel...like a five minute walk and then go anywhere we want.
