PS I did total the car. The insurance company just called. So I will let them haul the wreck away and bury it. And I will get a check soon. Not sure on the amount. It will have to be enough to pay off the rest of what I owe and give me some pocket change.

Hey It's Q specific...there is no room at the top, so he had to put the weather at the bottom. Sorry...gonna have to be that way...

If you get the chance, look at the Buick LaCrosse. Same car, but the trim is a bit different. The Buick tends to be a bit cushier. You might be able to get similar options priced differently.
Only problem with that is I am dealing with a Chevy dealer because that is where my r other works and I get an employee discount added to my purchase. So i will prob stick to the Malibu they are ordering for me. But my husband lives buicks and his dad has a couple.

Suggestion: go to a few auto pricing sites, like edmunds.com, kbb.com, and nadaguides.com, and research the clean retail price for the car about to be buried before the insurance company tells you what they think it's worth, which they should do before cutting you a check. Make sure they're giving you a fair value for it. You are well within your rights to argue the value if you think they're undercutting. If they really dig in their heels, you can also get quotes from dealers on the replacement value of the car that was totaled.

Hahaha. Thanks for asking For2. I'm doing ok. No real soreness at all which is amazing considering what my car looks like. No air bag deployed. Pfft. What are they good for?
