PS. something weird happened to my Zed. All of a sudden the settings app was all grayed out. Couldn't access a damn thing on there. Guess what fixed it? A reboot.

No, BB or Android, battery pull works the same way. I don't pull it very often, but it is effective when something is bananawacky.

So I tried to sideload a bar file for an app I'm testing. I set a password and must be I mistyped something because I couldn't do it right in 10 tries and my phone security wiped.
Or is wiping.
So I will set up my email again, get my contacts and calendar on from my email, reinstall all my apps and away we go. Let's see how long this is going to take.

Oh and maybe my phone needed a good cleaning anyway.
I pulled my sd card just in case.
EDIT: took about 15 minutes to wipe.
Kinda reminds me of the days I spent loading and reloading OSes that I wanted to try...leaks and the like. Fun fun fun.
But will sleep better once this is done hahaha
If anyone knows how long this will take I would appreciate some advice on how long to wait.

well, the wipe only took about 15 minutes. I used BB Link to restore application data and setting and therefore, will get back stuff that was from my last backup...about three weeks ago. Im sure the apps that load will need to be updated but I can do those one at a time in the morning. I want my email and contacts and calendar back.

How do I get my work acct to sync the contacts?
My Whatsapp and BBM are messed up because all the pictures are wrong.
And I have no contacts or calendar.

EDIT: It all popped back in as I was staring at a blank calendar. Oh well. Back up and running now. Except for Whatsaappp. wish i could dump the thing. It says I have to be on 10.0.10 to use, and of course, I am not.

Last weekend my son had a weekend long 21st birthday party. It went from Thursday night until Sunday morning, with 15-20 of his friends, girls and guys staying at our house. You talk about loud and crazy! This weekend I'm doing nothing. Quiet time at home.
