Has OS updating changed? Can you still load the OS that is released by another carrier or is that no longer possible? Hybrids and the like also possible or eliminated?

For the time being you can update via OTA or BlackBerry Link. As of right now you can't load another carrier or do hybrids....yet. Has a lot of ppl upset especially since Vzw is so slow.

I loaded an ereader on my Z10. I'm so happy to have everything in one place. But the ebooks have to be loaded to the device memory. Is there any problem with putting things in the device memory? Would it slow the phone down? I tried to put them on the card and read them that way but the app looks for them on the device itself.

How much internal storage does the z10 have? I know that I have almost nothing on my 9930's internal "hard drive." I don't even recall how much it has internally 4 or 8 gigs? Almost a complete waste in my case. So that app has no option to change the storage location?

As long as one of the books is not a THEME from a Summer Place!
I would guess that the internal memory will be as fast as any sd card. The memory is probably segregated and storage has nothing to do with processing power or speed.

My last couple droids had the same specs as the z....I saved all kinds of stuff to the device...just kept the pictures on the sd card...they always continued to run very fast...I think the z should do the same thing...its PLENTY capable!
