I would uninstall DM, the new OS, clear cookies and memory. Then reinstall the OS and try it again. Also reboot your phone before the reinstall. Not sure if this will help in your situation but it has for me.

Jaydee...haven't gotten around to it yet. Will try it today and see how it goes. I'll keep you posted.
I wouldn't be upgrading if I was happy with the os. It's not a bad one the one I'm on...but there is a calendar bug and it's annoying as (won't stay in week view or any view..keeps changing to day view). And hoping for better ADR. Currently at 6-7 with normal use, which to me is high.
Oh well.
Dang Hamster. SOrry it's not going well. Wiping is a rotten thing to have to do...all that re-adding of themes and apps. UGH. Hope it doesn't come to that!
So after uninstalling DM, every OS I had on the laptop, rebooting, re-installing dm, reinstalling only the one OS I needed, App Loader would still stop working.
I was about to wipe, then decided to try my hubby's laptop which is pretty clean of anything. So installed the os on there, shrunk, opened up app loader, and voila, it worked.
Hmmm... must be something on my laptop then???????
Or it could have been some trace of what you used to have on your laptop. I recall that most of the posts I've seen regarding this have a line about scrubbing the registry before reloading DM or your OS.
So often, people forget that step.
The thought of cleaning my registry to reload an OS makes me sick to my stomach.
I'm glad I'm not to the point of doing that yet. But knowing the trouble I usually have upgrading; it will happen
